I strongly suggest you guys go back and listen to the presentation, again, again, and again. Listen to the words actually said. Not what you want said.

You will hear ... "next year" ... .you will hear "2019 calendar year". At no time did he state "2019 model year". Ford will produce 2020s in calendar year 2019.

The only exception is if they start the run early with a short run of 2019 350s and 500s like they did with the very early 137 2015 GT350s.

He says Calendar year referring only to the GT500. It's much more vague regarding the GT350, but I sincerely doubt Ford would skip a year of production and then bring it back in 2020, that makes no sense. He also states it will be positioned next to the Bullitt so that either means it will be a 2019 model or the Bullitt will continue into 2020 as well.

Bullitt is a 2 yr run so yeah a 2020my Bullitt.
They also cannot produce 2019my and 2020my Mustangs at the same time.... Corp CAFE issues as well as internal program issues.

April 19 is also 55th anniversary time for Mustang so an early run of 2020s called 2019s is very possible. Also a matter of symantics as you can also call them late 2019s.....

And everyone knows we were supposed to be screaming towards the S650..... that has been altered. Just saying things are very fluid at Ford right now. I wouldn't take general comments at a presentation as solid gospel.

I think it is too early for the 2019 GT350 and GT500 order guide . I would expect no production until late Summer.

Ford has clearly stated the GT500 will be built in 2019.

You guys are aware, I hope, that were are currently in 2018, to be more specific April 2018.

Production is a minimum 1 yr away; even if they bring it out as a late 2019my car as they won't build it during the winter months (Jan-March).

I'm not sure why you feel the need to bring a sarcastic, condescending tone to a speculation thread.

On topic:
I think the likelihood is Ford continuing the GT350 for the 2019my and producing the remaining numbers it didn't produce for the shortened 2018my.

Just curious why you suggest that Ford would not build the new GT500 in the winter months of January to March ?
