I think I need the wheels. Has anyone seen the part numbers for the Level 2 wheels yet? :headbonk:

I'd love a set as well but they're gonna be stupid expensive for what they are. There was a set on eBay for like $2200 last week.

Likely you won't if you just go to the track once a year. The Cup 2's are not good tires to daily. They won't last long and they are very sticky and pickup/throw tons of pebbles, etc.

PP1 is provably a better option for you. Just add magride.
That's what I'm thinking.

Maybe so, I used the wifeys D plan to buy this car so I'm curious what her cost is on those wheels. Never hurts to ask. :D

Please share if you find out...if you don't mind. I buy my cars on the A-plan but had never considered buying parts at a discount. Can we do that? I may need to look into this.

My wife works for a Ford dealer. I wont mention location or job title. But I am told she's allowed to purchase Ford parts at wholesale price. So if I had a part number for those wheels.....

I thought the cloth Recaros were included, if not then it's basically PP1 ($3,995) + magneride ($1,695) = $5,690, which gives PP2 $810 for the different things. That's not a very good deal considering it only has some extra front splitter, different wheels, different spoiler, and different tune. Since you're removing something to get something new (except for the splitter), it's not really worth it if doesn't come with recaros. That being said, if I knew it won't come with recaros (looks like for GT Premium at least), I'd have ordered PP2 instead of PP1, but I think there was someone who ordered a GT Premium and confirmed it does come with cloth recaros in the order sub-forum, so this might just be a website screw up.

Different spring, struts, fender liner, and supposedly steering ratio. The tires along are over $800.

Again, you’re removing something to get something new, you’ll have to consider what the original costs, so no they’re not worth $810. Also, struts are the same, only springs might be different.

Think I'll be keeping my 15' or looking at gently used 18's next year.

Tire Rack is showing about a $600 difference in the price of PSC2's in 305/30-19 vs PP1 tires in PS4S. Ford's cost is likely less, but I bet it'd still amount to at least $400. I have no idea how much $ those 1.5" wider wheels at each end might add.
