2021 Mustang production started Jan. 4th. Cars are just starting to ship to dealers.
Right......that's quite late for normal Mustang production. Usually 2021s would have started showing up in the middle of last year, or even earlier.
+1 COVID is the root cause for all of this. There are shortages across the manufacturing spectrum. The latest is the chip shortage effect Ford and others. This will impact the number of 21's we see on the dealers lots.
That also explains why FoMoCo credit didn't offer 0% financing on Mustangs last year.
