Its hard to tell from this pic, but I thought there was also a "dealer floor" photo floating around and it didn't look too bad, but it could have been a bunch of repo parts or a diff stangIt was well on its way to being restored before word went out about it.
It is one of those yes/no kind of deals. Great to have it out but...ok I'm exaggerating a wee little...but there was not much more then a vin plate and beat to hell partial shell if I'm recalling correctly....the vast majority of the restored car wasn't on or part of the car in 1968. Not quite as bad as saying..hey I have an original radiator cap and then building an entire car around it and calling it the original car....well you get the idea.
