The 2015 and later Mustangs have an Aston Martin suggested look. The Aston maybe a a bit more attractive. But now the new Aston Martin Vantage is out, the Mustang looks way better. Way, way better

i 100% Agree....
Ford owned Aston for a while...plus:the head of design for Aston Martin and the designer of the DB7 and DB9 (and later head of design for jaguar) is Ian Callum
The VP of design for Ford is Moray Callum
They are brothers...

The Aston Martin is also not affordable by 95% of us.

Well that's certainly a subjective opinion.

I am a HUGE Aston Martin Fan. I think the DBS, DB9, and Vantage are the most beautiful cars out right now.

With that said, I actually don't really like the new Vantage, and do see similarities to the s550. I also almost never say shit like this, so take that for what its worth haha

is soooo sexy. Yeah my 2017 Mustang GT is a poor mans DB9 thats why I liked it so much when I saw the S550 for the first time. ;)

The side DLO is a straight rip of the DB9 as well as the grill opening shape.

The Fusion is like a mini poor mans Rapide.

I believe there was a similar thread back in late 15 or early 16.
Vanel27 makes a good point about the ownership as well. Family corporations can easily transfer designers from one brand to another.

The grille design you see in Ford's corporate look (as found in the Evos concept) - which everyone thinks is a copy of Aston Martin's grille - is actually found in the Mustang from the 60s.

I have a 2013 Ford Explorer and it looks very similar to a Range Rover Sport. Ford owned them for a while and did not seem apposed to borrowing their style. I am not mad though because I think it looks good and will be even happier when I have my S550 and it’s style.

Happens all the time. Just look at VW & Audi in their previous generation cars.

That 3013 styling is pretty dope tho...

Corrected my typo. Maybe I just don’t like having such an old vehicle and want something bleeding edge. My explorer will be paid off in March so that is when the 2018 GT should fit in my schedule.

Haha, all good bud. Yeah the 18 has a lot of nice innovations to it, I cant blame you.

Im slowly but surely converting my 16 to my track slut so I might hang on to it for a while.

Having no car paymemt is nice too.

I came from a 300c SRT8 and went to the explorer sport so I could pull my boat. Being able to put a tuner on the eco boost has made it a good SUV, but not an SRT8 and nowhere close to a Mustang. Also, I will be down to 1 kid under 16 (he is 14) so I don’t need a 5 seater. I still plan to keep the explorer for my non nice day driver and hope to keep the GT for a long time so I can customize it and make it mine!
