I've been wanting to order a GT with PP1 and 647 wheels, but each of the 5 or 6 dealers I've spoken to are clueless and don't get back to me. And that includes big dealers like Galpin - totally unhelpful.

The Camaro SS 1LE looks better and better - at least they Chevy dealers will return phone calls and are ready to move forward with an order.

If someone knows of a halfway knowledgeable dealer, please let me know. I'm about to give up on the Ford because I cant find anyone who knows anything:headbonk:

Go by in person. Or do what I did if they don't call you back move on to the next dealer. I ordered from a smaller dealer and they've been nothing but helpful. So maybe try a smaller dealer and see if they'd be willing to help you out.

I didn't even have to call. I emailed my dealership and mentioned that I purchased an S197 GT from them in 08. They got back to me in the same day.

I'm going to visit my dealer later this week with a request that they get some action on transit. My vehicle, while placed as a stock order, was to my specs and will be delivered to me, if and when it ever arrives. It was produced on 10/19, yet it continues to just sit in 'awaiting shipment' status. Get it shipped, soon, or I'll be searching dealer inventory within 500 miles of my routine travel circle come December. Surely the dealer has some influence on Ford.

Have you tried going to a dealer and talking in person? They don't want to waste their time in the phone on a special order that won't pay them for (at this rate) 6 months.

Yes - I've gone in person to three dealers - Lake Elsinore, Sunrise, and Sunland

I called Galpin, Rancho and Citrus

First mustang for me. Needing Magneride opinions on two cars I'm in talks with to buy.

White PP: Security pkg, no Magneride
Black PP: No Security pkg, but has Magneride.

I don't race it, and it will be a daily driver.
I own two black cars and hate the color choice

What would you do? Price difference is about $400, so I think Black with MR is better deal - but I'd prefer to have white, especially if the MR isn't that huge of a deal.

So what's the MR worth? If I don't get it, will I complain about the drive in a daily driver? Thoughts?

Dood from American muscle says the magneride is plush as fukkkkcc. Given the color choice I'd just wait for a white magneride model to show up but I am biased towards white.

But if you had to buy one of the two i'd pick the magneride black one all day everyday. Magneride not only makes it plusher but it helps cornering and launching because it independently dampens all 4 corners at different rates. I read in an article too that the front tires will let the rear tires know how much to dampen since they hit the bumps first.

It's a world class technology and if it comes on porche's, lambo's Ferrari's etc and we can have it for a mere $3700 when you count 301a hell yea you cant not buy it.

Can't get it without performance package, so add another $3995 to that. To get Magnaride on a base GT will cost your over $7500 since PP and 301a are required. For a daily driver, overkill in IMO.

We know that PP is required for magneride. Yes everything you just said was covered almost 4 months ago when order guides and pricing came out. This is the main reason I switched from PP1 301a magneride to PP2. For $800 more you get a better spoiler better wheels better tires and recaros + magneride and 301a.

My bad - I didn't see that both his car choices were already PP.

Miine is a cash deal. And I don't think they're happy about it since they make more money on finance. But I'd rather have it paid off then owe money to the bank. But I'm getting x plan

You're probably looking at about $3300 off with the 3% hold back. Ok I know OF is Orange fury but what's FO?

I found two 2018s at a dealership about 40 miles from where I live, and I'll be test driving them this Saturday with a friend. I'm still going to be waiting for my own order since these two don't have everything I want, but at least I get to play with the digital dash and other stuff.

The dealer that I ordered from won't receive their 2018's till Nov. 26th. I might drive through the local dealer and see if they have an 18. Which I doubt. I think they probably sent them to the bigger dealers first.
