93 OCTANE TUNE ADDS 50WHP!

I'm assuming that the average across most GTs is around 370 whp. I would expect that if I threw my car on a dyno today I'd be around 400 whp. This is not unreasonable for Tune+Intake+Catback even on a Mustang Dyno.

I believe Livernois has a Dynojet? :shrug:

While I agree that 370whp would be reasonable for a stock Mustang GT on a Mustang Dyno, most stock cars put down 370-380whp or more (SAE) on a Dynojet.

You're saying a 30whp gain is not unreasonable for an Intake, Catback, and a (claimed 50whp) tune, and I agree. However, Livernois is marketing their tune as 50whp ALONE, and I think that's a bit optimistic/borderline deceitful based off of all the information thus far, most of which is common knowledge.

This is why I prefer real world 1/4 mile numbers. Livernois had no problem doing track testing with their EcoBoost tune.

We have a mustang gt track run on our youtube but this one has had work done on it so its not a tune only 1/4 mile time, the one i have is supercharged

Still waiting for the day livernois comes out with a guage/tuner that isnt from the 90s :lol:

I'm obviously being very sarcastic but honestly one of the things holding me back from livernois is just how plain jane their tuner is. Its ugly. and way too outdated imho. I understand that it works perfectly as intended but.... So did the horse. yet you hardly see a horse on the road these days (not including pony cars).

Our tuner is meant to very simple and easy to use that way everyone has no trouble using our product at any age because not everyone has the best time working with electronics

Or if possible (doubtful) offer 2 different tuners. one that is much newer in terms of looks and features and what it offers like guages and what not, and then the old plain one. At the very least make the plain one look like its not as old as it is.

Really, I like the old one! No added gauge to watch or mount in my car, just pick the tune, download it, and put it away.

I like it too, before i worked here i put my faith in Livernois on my 15 sho that i no longer have and they didnt let me down and i loved how easy it was that i could make my own simple changes to my own vehicle whenever i wanted without a huge hassle!

Datalogging works just fine with one of these and the Torque app.
