can we stop with the "GT350 loses torque down low" comment? It doesn't, early tuners that did the swap for the first time lost torque. No one currently installing them and tuning them are getting any torque loss, small gains in tq actually when you tune the IMRC and VCT correctly and with ridiculous gains after 6200rpms in hp.

Tuning them is also now easy, no current tunes out there that I am aware from Lund, AED, or from FRPP directly have any drivability issues. I drove a Lund tune and FRPP, both had STOCK drivability, with the GT350 throttle body. I felt the gains after 3500rpms and really felt it after 6k. Made power until my right foot told my left one its time to shift.

Do you have any dyno results of that? I'd be interested to see this "gain in low end torque" because all I've seen is losing some 20-30rwtq until 6000rpm.

You mean it gains torque down low (3000rpm) and doesn't need to be revved to 8000rpm to make power?
We've been real good with results on these with Lund tunes. Only early issues learning how to tune them when they were first being used.

It's a great manifold, power low and the benefits of high for sure. There is no reason to have to rev to 8k...especially on a stock motor...wouldn't do it for the sake of killing and engine anyway.

Let me know if I can help further...the only reason I would tell anyone not to get it, is if they were going to a PD blower down the road, as it would be a waste of money spent.

Does anyone have a dyno overlay showing a low end torque gain from ANY manifold? Proof is in the graph.

I haven't done a dyno yet but I suspect the GT350 mani does loose a bit of torque down low. Since going back to the track, I cannot get the car to sixty foot quite as good, even with adding skinnies. 1.65 vs 1.70, car still went faster and trapped higher in worse air though so its a win win.

Just LOTS of logs between Stock and the FRPP (Ford tune).

Attached are MAF airflow compares. GT350 is on average using 2-3lb/min more of air below 5k, they just about even out at 5k (which is why you don't see peak increases in torque) and clearly you can see how it flows past 6k.

Somene show me a GT350 intake that has ZERO loss below 4k vs a stocker and Id consider one until then nope.

Personally if im spending GT350 money for an intake ill just spend the little more for a CJ.

As above sniper is likely best fit vs gains vs cost out of any manifold.
