That is about what they quoted me (2700) but i just couldn't see spending 1600 more than the 1100 for the PP2.

I was quoted the same price to install mine, others have told me it was a pretty good deal

My PP2 was installed Thursday. Total cost was $850. $650 for parts and $200 labor.

The install price seems fair enough but you can get a PP2 for around $600 and the Voodoo manifold for around $600.

So around $1200 parts total $400 install would out you around $1600. But the issue is then you would need a PP3 tune not PP2.

Don't know whether you would get the FRPP 3/36 warranty if you install piecemeal, and on top of which they don't sell the tune seperate.

So I went PP2 and @ 36 months I'll add the manifold and get a dyno or Lund tune.

I think you need the "installation" kit that Ford doesn't sell separate to install the intake.

Seems reasonable to me and you keep your warranty
$400 for the PP3 install at a Ford dealer is very reasonable IMO. It would be double that where I am.

Value is a very subjective thing. For my DD/street usage I don't see the value in the PP3. But it's your money. You might not see the value in some of my upgrades, but they're valuable to me.

Your car, your cash. If you want the PP3, $400 at a Ford dealer is very reasonable. Go for it. Make sure you get your ProCal flash tool, cal file and they use your account/password to get the file. You paid for it, it's yours, and you'll need it later should something go awry.

That is a damn good deal for a dealer installed pp3. I was quoted $435 for pp2 at a dealership here.

What are people getting on the dyno after the PP3 install? I'd love to do it at some point. I don't know how much headers would help in addition to it, but I don't know if I want my car any louder than it is currently (mbrp street, H pipe) since it's my DD and my wife rides along a good bit. I wouldn't want to go the PP3 route without headers if it was going to hinder my overall power increase numbers.

Where can you find a new GT350 manifold for $600???

I've never been on a dyno but I had the same exhaust setup as you when I went PP3. There was a noticeable power difference in the upper rpm's and I did feel a slight hindrance in low end power. I ended up adding headers and it made the exhaust note much louder and raspier, coupled with a Lund tune the headers seemed to pick up power all throughout the rpm range
