Was quite surprised today as the Ford dealer that we visited about a month ago called & said that they secured another allotment for a 17'R.

We decided on the color & options & they will put the order in on Monday which they mentioned will be the last day for ordering the 17's.

Bet'cha can't guess what was on my mind all day while driving John Deere planting soybeans! LOL

I retracted my question last night because it seemed to offend. No offense was intended, however it would be a good indicator of what dealers are asking vs what people are paying based upon the 1000R production target for '17.

Your question offended but "what fu**ing colour?" seems to be OK? Like color matters at all? He still felt the need to throw the f bomb out for no reason. There are kids who read this site. I see no reason why that expletive was needed.

To the OP. Congratulations on your new allocation. Please provide more details. As Tom said, we are all curious since they will be making more R's this year if the deals are getting better. If you don't care to disclose what you paid, how about just "No ADM" or "ADM"?

If you are personally curious what ADMs are out there - pick up a phone and call some dealerships. It'll be pretty obvious pretty quick.

I believe your dealer has a certain window to place the order if they do not have one waiting in the system. I was told this exact same thing last March and 3 more regular 350's were ordered after mine. As I believe this is the actual schedule as it coincides with the projected 1000R models for 17 and producton through September.

I agree. I wouldn't ask what someone paid for something. I'm just wondering if the ADM will go down now that Ford will be making 1000 this year. I hope the ADM has been reduced but I get that the OP may not want to answer, and that is fine.

OP, I'm hoping your deal is legit and that you trust your dealer. Many have been told they had an allocation only to find out later that the dealer did not have one or sold it out from under the original person who ordered it when they got offered more money. Keep in mind any Ford dealer can order an R but without the allocation, it will never get built. I hope this does not happen to you. I would think if the dealer offered it to you at MSRP, there may be something to worry about. Unless your married to the dealers daughter or another close relative or friend.

Ok....going to add my 2 cents to the discussion of..."what did you pay?" In regards to these cars I think its good to know what others paid so you can get an idea of that the market is for them so you can be an informed buyer. I certainly don't mind sharing any of this information with anyone and don't mind people asking me about it. I paid $65K for a track pack in Jan of 2016 and I found a friend of mine one for $63k about 4 months or so later on. Now I have heard of people paying sticker for them but I looked all over and just couldn't find that deal. I'm not up to date on it now as I have no need, other than curiosity, to stay current on it. Just my opinion.
