@Kristian87 - Quick question on this. How long after ordering did it take you to receive your VIN?

Just want to know if I should be pestering the dealer as yet.

No harm in asking! Well considering mine was built roughly 8 weeks after ordering, i would think the VIN would have been available a couple of weeks before that. Bear in mind though it was probably a bit of a fluke on my part - i just ordered at the "right time" i.e. When a batch of RHDs were built.

Fact is, when i asked my dealer for an update the car had already been built! Dont want to hassle them though so dont ask every week :lol:

Karen/Stacey may be a good shout too, not sure if they can get info based on your order number but could be worth a go? [MENTION=20131]Manders Mustang[/MENTION] will correct me if that is wrong!

Just thought I'd put this out there.

I popped into Bristol Street Ford Gloucester yesterday and noticed they have a white GT vert demo car, a Triple Yellow GT custom and a beautiful metallic blue EB custom. They also have a couple, one red one yellow sat in the pound.

I was also surprised to see about 15 Rs' in all colours on site and in the pound!!

So, why order and wait?? If any of these cars tempt you give Andrew a ring and say you saw this here.

VIN is 2 weeks before build, window sticker is 1 week before build.

Can get partial vins a few weeks before the full VIN. However current orders are fulfilling way quicker than average as Ford have upped production to clean the backlog for the MY18s.

So a pretty quick turnaround in Zeebrugge then? Mine is on the Tonsberg which docks in Zeebrugge 12/06 (Leaved Baltimore tomorrow!).

Could be in it by the end of the month - weird though, it still feels like it may as well be 3 months away. Excitement not kicked in yet.

... and an estimated build date of 19/06/2017. According to the dealership I should be looking at a late Sept' delivery.

Window sticker should have the build week, the "blend date" if I remember correctly (very top of the page);

got my VIN and checked the build date, 31st may so should be here august time ready for 1st september pick up.
Just looking at the window sticker, it says "LED TAILAMPS W/ SEQUENTIAL TURN SIGNAL" im guessing this is wrong being a UK build? unless they ordered a left hand drive by accident? im sure they aint that stupid
