Dang, I was out on vacation and missed several weeks of this thread. As the OP, I'll claim guilt for not tagging or notifying you directly- it's my bad. Almost sent the H back at the time, but had a limited timeframe before an event and had to make it work; happy with the result. You guys are solid for standing behind your product.

Just caught this thread. Way to go with the customer service CJ! Now that's how you keep customers and make new ones!

Years ago I had a similar experience during my '66 Restoration and TMI headrests. CJ's went above and beyond to get my issue straightened out as fast as they could.

For those that have gotten a refund are they wanting the h pipes returned? When I emailed customer service they directed me to another department to return it but mentioned nothing about a refund only. Kind of confused .

They didn't make me return mine. I used the refund to get it fixed and it sounds amazing now. Thanks again CJPP! Excellent customer service.

I called and referenced Dave@CJPP and this thread. They put me on hold a few minutes to look up my order number then issued the refund.

That's good to know. I haven't had a chance to call them. There's no way I could return my cause I have nothing to put back on it.

Not sure if anyone ever narrowed it down to a specific date range for the bad batch(es), but if you got a bad one, you'd know. Best way to describe it is it'll sound like an F250 diesel at idle. After getting mine fixed, it's silky smooth and just sounds like a "healthy" V8.

Is there a date range that these came out with the buggered holes? I ordered mine 7/29/16...
I bought mine back in December of '15, right after I bought my car. They took care of me, no problem!

Well I am glad I stumbled upon this thread before buying the CJPP H pipe!! Anyone have experience with any other brands of H pipe? Was looking at either the STEEDA or Lethal H pipe...
i ended up getting a lethal stainless h pipe because of this thread. i made sure to try and take pics of what was questioned here before installing it... what do you guys think:
