I really like the 2017 F-150 design. I think that big chrome bar across the front was a step in the wrong direction like the super duties. Everything else though, 10-speed with the 5.0 in the F-150 is pretty awesome.
Regular cab, short bed 5.0 with the 10 speed could be a defacto Lightning:headbang:

I think one thing that makes that 3d model look more aggressive is the lack of lenses over the headlight housing. The rendering does bring out the best of the 18 though. BTW, anyone wanting this look could obtain it for free by doing a few runs on the Bonneville Salt Flats haha.
I tried to color the rendering. I think it's just a perfect perspective of the facelift. Especially since it has no lens curvature which ruins many shots of the car.

Mustang Thunderbird F150 & '22 Mach 1 on order.
I picked up a fully loaded Mustang GT Premium back in 2005 for 30k, that will get you a base GT these days. Ford isn't concerned about jacking the price now because the Mustang is a world wide sports car.
If you look at the features of your '05 and the 2016+ you get a lot of stuff included with your base Mustang that were not even available in '05, at any price. If you look at each year, the features that were options a few years ago, have become standard now. Horsepower and brake rotor size have grown every few years, as have electronic features and interior material quality. Some stuff that was on the 2013 GT Performance Pack came standard on the 2014 GT, and the EB/V6 had performance features that were on the previous GT.

It is very hard to compare these cars to ones built just 4 or 5 years ago, much less 12. They are a completely different animal, and if you wanted all the goodies the new GT has standard, you would have had to buy an exotic sports car for 3 or 4 times the money you paid for your Stang, and less than the new Mustang too. We are in a grand time for automotive performance.

Hit the nail right on the head. God I love to stir the pot to get these intelligent, well thought out, rational & logical responses.

The lower part of the front bumper on the rendering looks a bit different comparing to the actual car seems like. The actual car is more sucked in and the rendering seems more like the GT350 bumper looking from the side. And the shape of the grill opening is a bit different.

It's not 100% accurate, but I think it's 90% on spot. Here's a better pic for a comparison, I also rotated the other picture to have a more similar perspective.

I think mostly the upper grille is a bit off. The upper corners of the grille should build a line with the fangs and the hoodline. Also the lower Corners have to be dragged a bit more down and to the side.

It's close but little subtle difference somehow makes it look different like the shape of the grille and the shape of the hood. The render has a GT350 hood to it being lower in the center so the raise by the fenders are more pronounced.
