Finally received my VIN today! Checked COTUS and the car was built this past wednesday! Should be here in a week or 2!

Order Confirmation / VIN

Normally how long does it take from placing the order / deposit and it showing up in COTUS? Salesman says 10-14 days for getting a VIN.

Took me 7 weeks to get a vin...but the car was built after the VIN came to me. Based on Cotus the VIN was probably available at 6 weeks.

Mine sat for a full month plus a few days before the order even went into the system. Mine just hit production yesterday.

Found out from the dealer my car was not ordered until 5/4.
Hopefully I will have my car before 4th of July at this point.

I went to a dealership on Saturday for a silver 2017 GT Premium PP, but that one was sold on Friday.. They told me about a lightning blue with the same packages being built soon. They gave me a copy of the window sticker and used the VIN on the COTUS site.
Ordered on 03/20/2017.
In Order Processing completed on 05/01/2017.
Currently in Production.
Estimated Delivery 06/07/2017.
Wish me luck!! Hopefully I can get there first and buy it.

They said I couldn't now because I have a trade in and the 8k off deal they're doing on Mustangs this month might be a different amount next month..

Your deal is locked in the month you buy. If there is a better deal at delivery you have the option of taking that. It's all in the fine print on Ford's website.

Your trade should be negotiated independent of that deal.
