As soon as you punch in that offset to the correct one, they're not going to weigh sub 20lbs anymore.

One thing to consider is having a light yet strong wheel that has a decent amount of spokes to spread the load across the wheel.

Who said anything temotely close to that! If I would have trully thought like that I would have gotten myself a cardboard rim and use that! Ffs!

But to trully answer your question yes I think lighter is better all other things bein equal or better still. for example CF RIMS are lighter and stronger than alloys so that is a win win.

Yes but their also 16k so a budgetwise investment is always good to look into.

CF Wheels are 18 lbs

Forgeline wheels are 21.3 lbs yes their 3.3 lbs more but also wheels that have been utilized for track usage thus showing their strength and quality as well.
