Someone else from the Mustang Discord (on which I stayed for only a couple of hours due to immature comments and peeps out there) also recommended Dot 5.1 if not Dot 4
Thanks for the input and indeed a RTFM was needed but I came back here because it's such a great source of knowledge from the vast experiences of others.
Also kind thanks for the good thoughts! Cheers and a Happy New Year to all of you kind folks. Stay safe and most important stay healthy!
Dully noted! I will also change the coolant as it's been roughly 6 years since it came with the factory coolant and believe it or not the car has roughly 7000km on the clock
Hi folks!
Haven't been here for a long time due to various health problems and a 2019 bike crash that nearly killed me.
I'm the owner of a 2017 GT350, and I'm from Europe. Till recently, I only changed the engine oil a couple of times along with the usual stuff like oil filter, and the air...
My impression as well regarding the crank, just by hearing the engine idle and rev. Sounds different than the GT350, aside from the charger whine, and I can't decide if I like it more. The engine is less of a screamer too, seeing it redlines somewhere around 7500 rpm?
I agree. Best performance mod IMHO: is exhaust tune, an aftermarket CAI (if you don't dig the stock CAI, I personally find it good enough) and a software tune.
On the contrary, I think it's better if you're not satisfied with just a tune, to go nitrous instead of supercharging/turbo the engine. Why? Because you can have power on demand only when you want it. If you just wanna have fun on a long pice of straight rarely, say 1 or 2 times a year, given...
Spoke to various local tuners and showed them the NX kit for the GT350 and most of them advised to go for the 75hp shot or 100. 300hp is to be avoided.
From my understanding (not an expert on the subject) there is a chance for the solenoids to get stuck on "open" which could spell trouble or...
Hi guys,
Lots of people praised the stock CAI in quality and airflow and from what I've read I tend to agree.
Having said that I was wondering if there is a CAI intake that's most aggresive in gains but MOST important intake sound. Are there any carbon fiber ones?
I remember seeing a...
I'm willing to jump on this but I have mostly 2 concerns:
1. What are the vibrations/harmonic effects on the carbon fiber DS and the rest of the drive train!?
2. What about exhaust temperatures affecting the CF DS, since it runs exactly between the close exhaust pipes? I'm afraid that in time...
QA1 has two different shafts for the GT350, one without SFI one with SFI. Depending on the seller, that's around 100$ in price difference.
Can anyone tell me what SFI means? I emailed them also but got no reply so far.
Sorry if that is a dumb question!
LE: Got the reply so the question no...
