2017 Tower Strut Brace Standard?

Good evening.

I've ordered a 2017 S550 GT Premium with the Black Accent Package, and got a look at it after it arrived from the factory the other day at the dealership.

Every V8 I've seen has had a Tower Strut Brace...but mine didn't. Now, I did get a look at it pre-PDI, but that kind of strikes me as something that would come installed from the factory.

Or is this not a standard part on the GT Premium?

Only offered on PP (Performance Package) cars, but you can find them used or aftermarket.

Ford Racing strut tower brace, comes with the firewall brace too. If you have the 20 inch wheels, your GT might already have the firewall brace. Look to verify.

Instead, I did the BMR CB006 4 pt. brace for the front subframe. BMR works!

Wrong.

The brace is standard on the PP, cars with 20" wheels, and convertibles (not 100% on this one).

Unless it changed from 2015-17.

Also the ford racing one in black looks much better IMO.

Wrong. 20" wheels cars and convertibles only had k-brace. PP had both (including one going on top of the intake manifold).

MY GT vert came standard with both braces. My hunch is that the turbo version lacks the strut brace.

My 16 Vert with 20" wheels cam with both the firewall k brace and the strut tower brace.
