The intake on the paxton is the biggest hangup for me but I am not sure it makes up for the cost difference. I am not willing to runmy intake open at the track though. As long as the hood closes and I don't lose too much power I can deal withthe Paxton intake.

Thats why they make prochargers for hard parkers. They like to be pretty.

Removing the intake on the paxton was worth 15-20whp on the dyno wity my car. Not game changing but when you are trying to push the stock motor as hard as i have. You take everything you can get.

At least a big strong tube. Watch out! Dont let that pretty impeller get damaged by that soft coupler. Dont worry the aftermarket has got procharger covered lol

There is a guy on facebook with a procharged s550 that is taking a shit on him. Sounds like the gear case is about to explode. Procharger told him to get f*cked. What a company!
Slamdcoop we should feel lucky that we don't own a maggy saggy pants blower like Navy Chief and call it a day ..

Ford Racing/Roush was my choice for following reason:
1. Ford Racing product w/Roush Warranty
2. OEM look after install
3. 670 crank HP (advertised) on stock internals (actual 587 RWHP on Dynojet)
4. As with #1, Ford Racing product should (maybe) help at re-sale time.

All the being said, the FI question is like asking "Which beer is best?"....

And the fact that Procharger doesn't sick up like sore dick with a funny looking black condom for a air intake like a Paxton :)

I don't even want to know what your doing if your junk looks like my intake. :D

I went with the Maggy set up from Livernois. Car drives amazing like stock when cruising but when you want boot bam, rocket with no issues. And was under $5500 installed for 591 whp with a conservative tune. The system rerouted the IAT to post intercooler and I never see IAT over 10 above ambient even when in traffic not moving.

here is a shot at 69 mph IAT at 51 when outside was 49. this system is for those ballers on a budget  and has better IAT than others out there. But they all good blowers just make sure to go PD. Only way to go.
5500 installed and tuned?

I will go ahead and disagree with number 4. I highly doubt anyone is going to care about that. Whipple was previously their blower choice.

You do realize that NOBODY told him to "get f*cked" Right? LOLOL

Seems that the "guru's" of Facebook told him that he didn't have a warranty.

Which is 100% false, much like 99% of the info found on facebook.

And he has a warranty, he called in and got a RMA number.
And we are just waiting on the blower to get here.

So cliff notes...

1) We stand behind our products, and have warranties on them.
2) FB "gurus" are about as worthless as grumpy cat memes

And on that note....

I'm not hating, you're either laying or livermois is a shady business. Long before you installed your kit, I called them after I talked to magnacharger (magnacharger sold their remaining kits to livernois) and livernois said 5400 just for the kit.
Livernois quoted me under 6k installed for the Maggie if I brought them the car. Adding shipping back and forth was like $6,700 total iirc. Not a bad price imo...
