How did you format the USB flash drive?

Stick the USB drive in your computer. Go to "My Computer", in the list of drives, right click on the USB drive and click " format". Choose FAT32 and click "format".

Have you tried using a 32gb drive on this unit yet? I stuck my 64gb drive in the front slot and it ran terrible.

As for running an update, the seller recommended a 4gb. But using an 8 or 16 should be fine if you don't have anything smaller. (I used an 8gb).

My 64 GB Samsung works fine for music so far. Haven't tried the update yet, as I'm talking to the vendor about the A/C problem.

Got it! Thanks :cheers: I'm about to decompile everything and build a Custom ROM after I analyzed everything! I will also reorganized the Tesla's APK Manager.

Should I wait on you, or install the file as is? Also, I am using the One launcher, do I have to disable that to perform the install? Last question, I just install the USB right? I don't need to be hooked up to wifi?

You can install it if you'd like just to see how it looks like and what changed. You can keep your launcher it shouldn't matter. Yes, Just install over USB no WiFi needed

I didn't have any luck with the update. The USB stick was blinking, but it never asked me to install update.

In that case you'll have to go manually in setting and click on update. You sure it's format FAT32? and you placed the update.img to the root on your usb? I think when I downloaded the file it wasn't called "update.img" but something else. It has to be renamed to update.img.

Yeah, I bought a new 8GB USB stick, and formatted to FAT32. Then took the file I downloaded called update+google and dragged it to the USB stick. Not sure that I can get into settings, the passwords don't work for me. So, I don't have to extract the file since I downloaded the whole file unzipped??? You think I can just rename the file I have called update+google to update.img? I don't understand the root on your usb comment.
