Just can't get enuff!
When these things are finally readily available and after they install the new oil cooler lines, I sure hope the dealers also replace with a brand new oil filter and oil... :D

This isn't about me. It's how ford handles the situation. Why would it matter to you or anyone how much someone drives their car? I'm not in anyway "obsessed" with getting mine done first. As I said all along I'll replace my own hoses.
It's no different than you complaining about the lack of coolers on a car you knew didn't have them.
Huh, I think it's different. The hoses don't have an impact on how my car functions, so it's not a high priority to me.

The cooler situation is all about having the most track capable Mustang ever that really isn't track capable at all. I expected the GT350 tech pack car I bought to be similar or slightly more capable on the track compared to the 2015 base GT I owned immediately prior to it. In some ways the GT350 tech pack car is more capable, but in being able to run laps for more than 10 minutes, the base GT was much more capable.

This wouldn't have been quite as big a deal if buying/adding the coolers would have been simple.

So I feel you are complaining about something that doesn't matter, because it doesn't change how your car works. Why are you in a big hurry to get the replacement hoses?

While I agree with your Tech Pack argument 100%, I disagree completely with your issue with why VooDoo is pissed. My car is in storage so I don't really care at all and the fact that there is an issue is really no big deal to me but I can see why other people are pissed. It's pretty crappy that cars on the road now would not be of the highest priority. The guys who have already waited, took delivery of, and drive their cars, no matter how much they drive them. The ones on the showroom should sit until the ones out in the public are fixed.

Nope. The part list calls for the tub assy, a few plastic clips and 1qt of 5w50 oil.

Well I guess I see it differently. If that oil cooler line blows you may as well call it game over friend. Because your motor will be toast and those coolers you were concerned with won't mean shit.
And if you think those recalled oil coolers hoses are not part of the "most track capable" mustang you're wrong again. Again. What goes through the oil cooler hoses? I guess your right they don't mean anything and their not important. :frusty:
You also knew when ordering your car that tech cars didn't have coolers, yet you still bought one.
Tech
Or "Track" hmmmm track means track car.

Hmmmm why am I in a big hurry? Let's see I paid $65k for a car that I'd like to enjoy. I'm not in that big of a hurry because I refuse to allow ford to replace the lines for me. I have a right to be an unhappy customer of fords just as you do for the lack of coolers. I could say your complaining of the lack of coolers is nonsense but I won't because I do feel bad for tech and base owners.
The oil cooler line recall effects all of us, including you. Sorry you don't get it.

Amen!
I truly feel bad for base and tech owners. And I agree ford fked up by not having coolers on ALL GT350's.
I so disagree with the way ford handles this whole recall.
Fix what's sold before fixing what's not sold. They have the poorest customer service ever.
What give a non sold car priority over a sold car that is out on public roads and race tracks?

They are the ones who said "do not sell or test drive dealer inventory" which would bring a $21000.00 fine.
But yet it's ok for owners to continue driving their cars and get put on the back burner until the unsold ones are fixed first.
Ass backwards!

I've said it, and i'll say it again, reason why they are allowing non-sold cars to get the fix first is solely because they're not bringing any money sittng in dealers showroom waiting for a fix.

$$$$$ rules everything, even safety unfortunately. :tsk:

Don't let Voodoo fool you, he doesn't even drive his car. I have never even seen a picture of the whole car or proof that it's ever been on the road. I think he is a spy :D

Had new a 16 GT350 and 17 GT350
My service manager told me this morning it will still be a awhile before I can get my oil line. That they have to take picture of cars that the lines are leaking and send them to Ford and they get the lines first. Then the rest of us that don't leak get ours. I really don't have a problem with that it just seems like they would have made enough replacement lines to replace all cars involved at the same time.

Is my car broken? I'm driving it whenever the weather allows. And I have full warranty coverage from Ford. I think if there was a significant chance of a catastrophic failure Ford would be treating it differently. This is one of those recalls there's no reason to rush to get done.

Well I guess I see it differently. If that oil cooler line blows you may as well call it game over friend. Because your motor will be toast and those coolers you were concerned with won't mean shit.
Ehhh, it's covered by warranty, so the game wouldn't really be over. I would get to exchange my motor with 15,000+ miles on it for a brand new one. I don't see that as a loss for me. I also think it's so unlikely to happen that I don't care. I could get hit by a bus or a meteor and it would REALLY be game over, but I don't worry because I know the odds are low. I could also worry about fake news or yellowstone blowing up or whatever - things that are more likely to negatively impact my life.

Probably true. Businesses need to make money or they go under. It's not fair to ask the dealers to carry the expense of that added inventory, so I agree with Ford's priorities in this case.

Someone always looking for a handout! SMH
