i think if your going with a different intake a lower gear will help. i lost lowend pickup with 3.15 gears and gt350 intake. it looks cool on a dyno sheet but thats not real world driveability. hurt my 60ft so the extra mph only helped a little.

Were you on the stock converter? If so that's why your 60ft times aren't any good. These cars benefit from a converter change, not a gear change.
