installed mine today 425/500 zero preload. The eibach sport lines I had before were a 1.5" front and 1.3" rear drop. Now maybe mine haven't settled yet all the way but it's currently a half inch higher in the front than sport lines and 1/4 " higher than the sport lines in the rear.
Rides nice.... But hoping it gets lower. It looks weird right now

Yup I don't mind that height at all, how much preload do u have?I dont have the 1" taller eyelet.

Do these coilovers come with bumpstops or dust boots? I'd sort of like to protect my investment if I were to spend this much on coilovers!

Bump stops yes no dust boots. They do come with million miles warranty. They are bad ass coilovers. Definatly go with the standard 300f/400r just because you live in San Jose that has fucked up roads.

Maybe checkout H&R coil overs. The factory base struts & shocks need replacing for sure. I just installed BMR cradle lock-outs and that helped mine a wee bit.

3 1/2 inches from the bottom of the nut to the aluminum below the sticker in the back. This pic shows 3.125"
the front i touched the spring then 3/4" preload i believe.

Well got my level 2 coilovers installed, have very slight preload on the system at the moment, getting a hair of contact on my frpp half shafts cv boot, and a few weird noises. When I cut the wheels left and right while parked I can hear the front end creak, and when I hit a hard bump I can actually hear the front struts compress.
