those wheels are ugly as the black package wheels imo but you still have to look at the front every time you wash it and turn your head to look back at it after you park and walk away

The PP3 kit which consists of two off the shelf parts that ford has at their disposal along with a tune puts the current S550 at 472. 475 is not a crazy number for Ford to offer in the 18my in a GTPP. Anything less and the car will probably still be slower than the 6th gen camaro. They don't have a lot of time before CAFE standards kill off the HP wars. Might as well win while they can. The S650 will be the hybrid mustang II neutered by emissions.

They don't need to be faster than the current Camaro.. They still outsold them on both manufacturing years on the 6th gen now... Ford doesn't care that much about the Camaro and never has. Ford provides a better all around package and that's what most people want. The interior alone is a reason to choose the Mustang over a Camaro. A moderate 20-25hp would be more than enough to show the people they are still keeping performance in mind. I think handling is more import to Ford at this point. A well balanced car means more than throwing another 40-50hp into it if you can't even keep it planted.

Did you count those spokes, or is that Texas math? Is there a rule about spokes per lug that I've never heard of?

I didn't actually. I just saw there were more spokes than lugs and none of the primes matched. 7-on-5 is about the same as 6-on-5.

you want symmetry around the axis. Without a matching prime, one lug matches one spoke... and that's it. It's aesthetic design 101. Not to mention a balancing nightmare.

5- or 10- spoke work with 5-lug. 15- gets too crowded.

2-, 3-, 4-, 6-, or 9-spoke work with 6-lug.

7-spoke would have worked with Ford's old 7-lug wheels. I wonder why those didn't last. :eyeroll:
