My biggest question is did they finally revise the map lights?
Bro, that's a deal breaker unless Roush fixes those lights.

Someone on Jalopnik posted this photoshop job. Looks 100 times better. It just needs new headlights and fenders. The bumper isn't even the problem.

It really is the headlights, what's the point of the big gap on the bottom. In the drawings Ford put up the headlights look much better

Just because someone doesn't agree with you doesn't make them "butt-hurt". These have to be the most childish comments in this thread. I was actually hoping to trade in at the refresh to bump up to the premium model for Carplay so we all aren't waiting around for an excuse to bash this..

I'm just not digging the lower half of the front, maybe aftermarket parts will help remedy that. I'm still not sold on the lower hood/front end flowing with the back looking at it's profile.
Agree with me about what? I said in another post that I think the chin looks bad...But the '18 will be a better car in every driving performance metric and to listen to people say they wont be getting the car because of a slight styling change to the nose leads me to a few conclusions....

A) they arent long time Mustang owners

2) aren't financially able to upgrade or were never getting an '18 anyway

D) care less about a cars performance and its "soul" and more about how it looks from a particular camera angle

Talk about some carelessly drawn conclusions...

Doesn't look like the dash changed much around the gauge area. So long as the plugs haven't changed, the new cluster may just fit into the 15-17 model with ease. Other than the neat new gauges that lose the retro feeling, the makeover still looks like a long, smooth tube of a front end.

Posted by a long time Mustang owner, raised by a retired Ford employee that stamped out the famous Cleveland motors (poorly drawn conclusions, Fastcarfanboy)

Doesn't really make it look better. But it's certainly something I could eventually forget about. Who knows. After seeing them modified is usually when I get sold on a car.

Doubtful. The gauges are changed by different mods (normal, sport and track). It seems like to me there would be more required than just plugging it into the dash. If it can be done it will probably require a bit of work. Like harnesses, control boxes, etc.

Agreed. Blacking out the whole bottom portion that's body colored is a huge mistake. Makes a giant black hole in the front that takes away from the lines. Smoked signals, headlights isn't as bad, but don't black out that bottom portion, for the love of all.

I did see a 7400rpm redline in one tach picture. I wonder if this 5.0 has billet opg?

I'm betting the new one has the gt350 im/tb.

I noticed that too, but it isn't in all the pictures. Maybe it switches when you go to S+ mode?

That's my guess. Sport+ or track may give you the 7400rpm redline.

It looks like an Aston Martin and a Toyota Camry had a baby. Wowzers... Everything else looks good though.

Wonder how much of a power bump each car got? I would estimate 455 for the GT and 335 for the Eco. But just guessing.
