I remember hating the 2015 styling when it came out. I still think my 2011 was better looking, but the new style has grown on me. Also all the new features from the 2015+ cars are nice compared to what the 2011 had. If I still owned a GT and Ford came out with a new engine that made 50 more HP and dropped some weight out of the car - along with some other improved features... who knows? I might buy.

I do feel like those flat, triangular panels under the turn signals don't really belong on the car. If those were changed to something that fit the car better, IMO the entire front of the car would be significantly improved. The rest of the changes are fairly subtle. I do think the lowered nose will be nice for visibility. I know the first time I drove my GT350 I immediately loved how much better the forward visibility was.

I have to say that the first time I looked at it I hated it, but it's already growing on me.
I actually agree with you.

At first, no-go... watched the video a couple of times and it's not bad. The slightly lower nose really helps - I didn't like that about the 15-17 GT (that the fenders seemed to go on forever).

The first one looks better for sure. Its gonna be even better in person.

This is the best pic of it I have seen tbh. From this angle the front looks wider and more aggressive... but it looks sad from other angles. Really don't know, I'm going to have to see the interior, but myself along with what seems to be a lot of people now seem perfectly content waiting for the s650... hopefully in person it's much better. I don't understand why they didn't try to keep the current front and slim it down. The amber turn indicator area is what kills it for me, if they didn't droop down and the turn signal was similar to the 15-17 it would look much better.

The new car will be quite a bit better. 10 speed auto. A decent HP bump from the direct injection. Unfortunately, it wont be enough to make me want to trade.

Masculinity is Gone!

THEY TOOK AWAY THE MASCULINITY!!
It's all smoothed out.

Just horrible, not only did they turn the front into a Saturn they ruined one of the best features, the individual rear brake lights. Now there is no black between the red brake lights, it's all one light, so disappointed!

Newly enacted Federal regulations forced Ford to lower and increase the hood slope so people would have a better chance of surviving Cars & Coffee, and other car meets.
Are you just saying this off the cuff based on previous federal regulations or can you actually back this up with fact that a specific regulation for the 2018 M/Y actually required lowering the hood line?

Right now, I don't believe a word of the regulation argument. Not in a world where the 2017 Mazda CX-9 has a flatter hood than the outgoing Mustang (and rivals a squarebody GM truck for straight-up, front-end, pedestrian-smashin' real estate):
