I actually agree with you.I remember hating the 2015 styling when it came out. I still think my 2011 was better looking, but the new style has grown on me. Also all the new features from the 2015+ cars are nice compared to what the 2011 had. If I still owned a GT and Ford came out with a new engine that made 50 more HP and dropped some weight out of the car - along with some other improved features... who knows? I might buy.
I do feel like those flat, triangular panels under the turn signals don't really belong on the car. If those were changed to something that fit the car better, IMO the entire front of the car would be significantly improved. The rest of the changes are fairly subtle. I do think the lowered nose will be nice for visibility. I know the first time I drove my GT350 I immediately loved how much better the forward visibility was.
I have to say that the first time I looked at it I hated it, but it's already growing on me.
At first, no-go... watched the video a couple of times and it's not bad. The slightly lower nose really helps - I didn't like that about the 15-17 GT (that the fenders seemed to go on forever).
