Find a way to get the Steeda fixed valve dampers over the PP ones. You'll be happy you did.
Would those Steeda ones work well with the 89/82? They are about 10% stiffer than the PP set I read.

I want to do it right the first go around without jarring my joints apart.

They're actually softer on compression than the PP dampers, so they'll actually be less harsh. They have about 10% more control (generally that term is used for rebound), which means the car will settle much faster. The ride will be the same firmness as the PP but more supple and better controlled.

If you already had the PP I'd say leave them, but since you're spending money, get a better overall setup for just a little more.

I'd do the Cradle Lockout at a minimum. You don't really need the alignment bushings (as the front mounts of the lockout do a pretty darn good job of that), but they certainly don't hurt and could help the install. LCA and knuckle toe-link bearings if you're feeling adventurous. I would also do the PP rear bar (and bushings) or an aftermarket one (though you'll want a matching front if you do aftermarket, otherwise you'll have a little bit of an oversteery handling balance).

Steeda just posted a 15% off sale on all their parts, so you can grab those dampers with a decent discount.

Oh man, time to spend the overtime money. I will order the cradle lockout and a front/rear sway bar kit as well. The bearings seem a bit above my expertise. I really appreciate the help. Out of all the forums I have been a member of throughout my life this one is hands down the best.

This looks perfect. The best part is "with my son". Dad level 100.
Thanks, Kong76, modding is our favorite father/son male-bonding activity.

I'd definitely recommend the sway bars paired with the SP089/SP082 combo. Try the medium or firm setting on the front bar and soft on the rear first. If you go quite a bit higher on spring rate then it's not so cut and dry as to needing bars, like I've done, for insurance. The car feels much better to drive with the increase in roll stiffness.

Installed BMR 81/88s

Extremely pleased with how the car drives with these springs! Nose dive is gone, body roll greatly reduced. Car feels much more stable and planted in turns. Very happy with the results!
