I bet there is a secret key combo / engineering menu on the unit where you can switch it from EU to US and back.

I went through the liberty of testing out the sync 3 applinks, they're pretty good! if you want facebook, twitter notifications while driving, then get "meople.connector" it force-checks for any new messages so we can be safe behind the wheel.

So two days in a row now I've gotten this error popping up on my 2016 Mustang GT Cali Special. Everything installed fine and it doesn't always happen, but when it does it's locked like this until I restart the car. Anyone else experiencing this?

I used this link from Page 1 (for Nav), which seems to be all EU.

autoinstall file on that zip says:

I looked into this, it began way back in 2015 when sync 3 first came out, you may want to have the dealer check it out, as our updates are only for sync 3 software itself, not touching anything to do with nav side, thats a separate update altogether. check this out, video from dec 2015, and someone else's post in another forum

Guys i need some help. I just updated mine with fords official link and my navi map wont load? It says loading map forever. Any idea of what the issue might be?
When i switch to audio or climate and try to switch back to navi it beeps but doesnt do anything.
I updated checked the new version (2.2) but some ppl mentioned they had to pair their phones again. My iphone connected automatically after restarting the car?

after install it takes up to 5 minutes for the maps to load. only need to wait first time. after that its fine.

Yeah I did this update on my non Nav system, just have to be patient and let it do its thing, and to those of you with navigation, the system was just rebooted, it does have to reload some data into storage, let it do its thing and I would not shut it down till it fully loads your navigation unit. This was common even on the old MFT units prior, has to load data to storage for maps.

I had no problems updating my non nav unit at all Android Auto is working flawless.

android/apply play has nothing to do with nav system. It overlays ios/ android auto over the screen and usses the GPS of the phone to run application of the phone overlaying the car screen.

So its like phone screen (not really but approximately) over the car sync3 screen
