id1000s, cold spark plugs, paxton 2200sl

When the car sits for several hours and I go to start it after a long period of time it struggles to run for about 1min then it idles fine. Listen to the videos below. With Lund the car would rev way up and hold it for about 30 seconds then come back down to idle. I am tuned by a very reputable shop here in Dallas home to some very fast cars so they know their stuff.. Today they revised the tune but the issue is still there any ideas? Is it the spark plugs?

Does this look normal for stock mani and catted LT headers?

It is the tune. I had the same issue with Lund at first and after a few logs we had it dialed in. There are a number of folks who had this issue and 90% of them ended up being the tune.

Y2 is a great shop i am sure they will figure it out.

Doesn't seem too far off to me...maybe a touch low but all dynos are different. My car (not supercharged) had an idle like that, and the JLT coupler to the TB had worked its way loose and was causing a slight intake leak.

I heard that SAE dynos low compared to STD correction.. In other words if I went on a STD correction it would be 640.. First pull it made 627 this was the final and it was hot

Good to know others have had this problem, and yes Y2 has been great and they are aware of the problem still happening after today's revision.

I still have this long start issue with my Paxton setup. Lund worked that issue out with a revision.. but when I installed my fuel system he sent me a new tune and I don't think he fixed the issue all the way. If the car sits for over 30 minutes and I try and start it again, it will struggle to start for about 10 seconds some times

The 2nd video made me think E-85 as my car doesn't fire immediately. It's gotten worse but here it is this summer

If it sits for days, it now takes 4-5 button pushes to get it to start.

Fires immediately on 93.
Mine will start right up cold on E85 but will die right after it fires up unless I give it a touch of gas before it dies .. On 93 it's fine ..
