Are you sure? The ysi-b looks like its doing better then the 94.We make a race specific F-1A-94 which is peaky, but will flat out destroy any blower in its size range, and even the larger units of our competitors.
The standard F-1A is a "street" blower, with a very robust midrange boost/torque production. On some applications that could be 50-60 more ftlbs more then the "-94" sister version.
However on "kill" mode, the -94 will make about 150 more rwhp give or take, even with the same size compressor.
Plenty of heavy cars running 8s with the standard F-1A street blower.
And now many cars in the 7s with the "race" unit.
For my personal street car with a small cube motor, I would go with the standard "A". However if i had a big cube motor, that already made way to much TQ, then I would jump strait to the "94"
