Hey guys, do any of you know what the specs are for the GT350 front sway bar? I'm looking to upgrade for the next autocross season. And is anything available or will any standard S550 compatible sway bar work?

Are you running the Steeda G-Trac brace? It added a fair amount of stiffness to the front end. You may want to try that before diving into a bigger sway bar.

That's actually a good idea for general functionality but aftermarket K member braces aren't allowed in Street classes.

Ah, I didn't consider that.

Yeah, details ha. And even so, if I want to tackle handling characteristics, I would want to go to the DIRECT source rather than fine tuning something that has an INDIRECT effect. While it may make the front stiffer, it won't combat lateral sway directly.

It's like the concept of trying to find more grip in the corners on apexes. Yes, you can change your shocks and struts to coilovers but why are you running on a shoddy all season tire?

The GT350 and GT350R front bars are the same. Why not try adjustable end links?

34mm already? Well an upgraded 35mm definitely isn't going to do much then. Adjustable links might be the kicker, as Voodoo suggested.

Is it only the rear that is stiffer?
The rear is larger in diameter. The rear bars end holes are in the same position. I have both the R and of course non R. The R is bigger in diameter by .060 if I remember right. All the Mustangs use the same sway bar end links.
The front GT350 sway bars are the same for both non r and R

34mm to 35mm is a >12% increase in stiffness.

I have cortex and BMR. If your interested in the BMR end links I have 2 sets for the front and one set for the rear. All brand new. If interested I'll sell them for a good price. Pm me if interested.

I also have Brand new BMR rear lower control arm bearings and vertical links. All new never used.
