Not sure what price you are getting on your GB but my dealer quoted me $216 for the side scoops painted in LB. I don't plan on getting them but I thought I'd share the price.:cheers:

FYI for the group, placed my order today for a QWS and SS in Oxford White for my Wife's S550.

One note, these parts are pre-painted by Ford and the seller couldn't tell me when they would be ready (could be a week, could be a month). Cool thing is that he won't charge me until he gets the pieces in.

So the ball is rolling, I'll keep everyone updated.

Also, the price is lower then any guesses I've seen in the thread, so for those of you serious about buying (especially if you want pre-painted pieces) it's worth holding off for a bit and joining the group buy.

G'day, gents! Please see if your entry ends with the word "committed", and if it doesn't, please PM me with an update.

Obviously that word does not have the same meaning as it usually would; you haven't signed anything or sent any money anywhere yet! But it helps me/us to see how many of you are serious about this opportunity at this point.

Apparently there's a slight delay in getting the color-matched pieces going, and I realize that therefore some of you are waiting to see how long they're gonna be...and/or how the shipping works out. Completely understandable - I'd be doing the same thing.

But if you haven't updated me from your initial "I'm interested" message, I have not made any assumptions on your behalf. Please reach out so I can update the list.

Sorry - no. The pieces *exist*...but there are no p/n's in the Mother Ship computer with which to order them. Yet.

Placed my "order" last week. When the parts come in, I'll get a call then pay up and have the pieces shipped to me.

Unfortunately, there was no time frame given, so...

* Update *
I know with certainty that color-matched hood scoops exist. However, my source for the three parts does NOT, and so -- until he is provided with FoMoCo part numbers -- he is not able to order them. I am therefore lobbying my alternate source to become the provider of color-matched hood scoops. So...until I can deliver a firm response to this issue, don't make any rash decisions!

** Update #2 **
Unless you live in - or in one of the states neighbouring -- Minnesota, your shipping charge(s) will be lower if you order directly from the website to which I keep referring. And depending upon what you order, you may end up saving significantly, because the website offers flat-rate shipping of around $9 for a hood scoop...whereas from my guy, the shipping cost is $34.

HOWEVER...

As previously mentioned, the parts cost a little more from the website.

THEREFORE...

If you're buying a HS, you will probably save ten or eleven bucks by ordering directly from the website (with the caveat of which state you live in). If you're buying more than just a HS you will definitely save more by ordering from the website.

I find it a bit odd, but there you go. And please take notice of the calendar; this is not the ideal time of year to be wheelin' & dealin' (and shipping, for that matter)

I will try my best to learn more before year's end, but I would suggest that if you can - you may wanna wait until the new year to focus on this again. Stay tuned!
