I have my car parked for the winter months and I just purchased a battery charger/tender to keep the battery voltage up through the winter months.
The unit has come with alligator clips, ring conectors and a 12 volt plug. My question is, can we charge the batteries in our cars with the 12 volt plug inserted into the 12 volt port in the car? Or only direct to the battery?
I am wondering if these ports have diode protection so you can't feed power into the car via the 12 volt port?
