car was built in and around the 9th and delivered on the 20th. One advantage to living in michigan close to flat rock.

Well this sucks, I have the recall, build date 7/16. Hate the dealer messing with my car. Maybe I can get the kit from them and do it myself.

I assume I'm on this list with an early July 2016 build date. I'm not letting my car sit waiting for Ford. This does not say to stop driving your car. If the motor blows, Ford owes me a new one. I'm not making 3-4 more car payments for a car I can't use.

That's where they get ya though, they won't tell you to stop using it, because then they would have to reimburse everyone their car payments during the down time. But if your car happens to leak oil and turn into a fireball like ITLRUN's did... well, that's up the the individual owner to decide on whether the risk is worth it or not. Not cool on Ford's part to put out a bulletin like this and not have an immediate fix, IMO that is unacceptable.

Luckily mine is stored for the winter now anyways, so hopefully they have a fix for when I take it out of storage next April/May...
