I had my entire front end, entire hood, both fenders, rocker panels, mirrors, door edges and cups done in Expel for 1,000.00.

Front bumper
Full hood
Full fenders
Mirrors
A-pillars
Rocker panels
Rear impact areas (front of the rear quarter panels)

The above, plus fixing several rock chips on the hood and mirror, ran me $2400 for Xpel Ultimate.

I just had the area in front of the rear wheels covered because that spot gets peppered on every car but especially cars with sticky tires. It cost me $400. I try my best to stay away from cars in front of me. I have 3600 miles on my car and I haven't found one rock chip on the front yet. Knock on wood.

Having the entire car wrapped in Suntek then they are doing CQuartz on top and on the wheels. Then tinting the windows all for $5800. They are also doing all the paint correction, prep and putting on the splitter for me. Car had come right off the trailer and went to them.

I had mine done at Knox Detail. I got a multi car discount because I have had several cars done there. Ask for Tim the owner. They also Cquartzed my car.

Would appreciate an education on this. If XPEL is a self healing film, does putting a hard nano coat on top of it prevent the self healing?

I am not sure how it works. Give Knox Detail a call. They specialize in this stuff. I just like how it protects and looks on my cars. I've had it on a Mercedes an Audi and now my GT350 and will have it put on my R when it arrives.

I did the front bumper, full hood, both fenders, mirror backs and rocker panels I also have the car tinted at 30%. The bill was 1600. I had Suntek installed as I did not like the look of the XPEL ultimate. Just too thick for my taste.

Got a quote today from my local vinyl shop to get my car some front protection .... Front bumper, no hood film, front lamp lenses, mirrors and the back of the front wheel wells, $350
Based on what I see from my daily driving, this should provide 99% protection of what can get damaged.

That is... astoundingly cheap. My installer mentioned that the GT350 front bumper is one of the most difficult ones he has ever done.

I would highly recommend getting the hood covered, though; with what he has already quoted you, I can't imagine it would be more than a couple hundred extra for a lot of peace of mind. Additionally, it would make more sense to cover the front of the rear quarter panels (AKA the "rear impact areas"), rather than the rear of the front fenders.

Just can't get enuff!
Suntek PPF full front clip.... $1,050 (but can vary per car due to length/size/complexity). They wrap around edges... do it right. Excellent work ethic... they don't rush and their reputation on high quality results speak for their work. I have had friends go there too and all are satisfied.
