If a car was built on the 18/7/16 when can I expect it to show up at http://www.2wglobal.com/ . My vin keeps coming up No listing/record but I would have thought it would have been booked in at least.
Vehicle ordered 24/7/2015 and patience is wearing thin.

Have you tried contacting Ford on their facebook page - using a bit of honey there can get good results.

Hi everyone,

This is my first post on this forum. First off I would like to thank the members here for sharing their knowledge and information for the benefit of all about these beautiful cars.

I ordered a DIB Fastback GT early Dec/2015. I have just been told it's been built late August so I'm guessing I'll have it early Dec. it's going to be lighting blue after Ford discontinued DIB.

I plan on doing the basics quickly, oil catch can, mats, boot liner, Tempe spare and opti ooat. I will look into changing the exhaust. I want to know its a V8 however I don't want to annoy the neighbors and I don't want cruising drone.

I'm going to keep the car fairly stock and I'll never do induction. Really looking forward to the new beast. I live in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne. Regards Greg

I thought I was the only one left waiting this long. I ordered mid July 15 and it was built on the 20/7/16. It only showed as booked on a boat at 11.30pm on the 7/9/16. So hopefully yours will turn up in the next couple of days! I really do feel for you the wait has been ridiculous considering some have ordered five months after us and have cars or are on a boat or about to take delivery!!!! I would check again tonight at 11pm, onwards, this gives them time to start work over there and start logging in. Good Luck

Congrats Fordgt I will try tomorrow and if not there will leave it for a couple of weeks. No point in being disappointed every 3 days.
Hopefully the latest batch of vins will get put up that made the tallisman.

I sure understand the disappointment and don't want to put you through more, but I would keep trying daily right up to departure of the Talisman and I think some vins have shown up a day after sailing!! If nothing then I would start again a week before departure of the next boat. I bet it shows up soon!! You should be on Talisman with us. Good Luck!

Hi Horseless, if you PM me or even post your VIN here, I will do some ground work for you and see if I can trace it.

To answer your question, Ford book the cars in batches for each ship depending on the state of delivery etc. One batch may have anywhere from 1 - 100 cars. As the trains are unloaded the shipping batches are sent out to the shipper.
