So today I went through a drive-thru, I knew it was a bad idea, it has a weird curb. Anyway I scraped my rear 20in Factory wheel. It's mainly the chrome painted sections that were affected. Is it possible to fix them? I was thinking about sanding the rough areas smooth, adding some filler, sanding, then spray painting it with chrome paint, and finally hitting it with clear coat. Has anyone tried this? Will it work, or at least make it less noticeable.

Short of having it professionally repaired it's worth a try, and it's not like you'd be making it any worse than it already is.

Thank's for the replies. I never dealt with fixing a scrape before, but it looks fairly simple to cover it up some with some paint and filler from what I've read. It's just annoying since the cars less than a month old. I knew I should have parked and walked in haha
