All of this OPG talk has made me paranoid, so I thought I would look into getting a quote to have it done. I also have a set of BMR springs I've been waiting to have installed, so I figured I'd go ahead with that as well.
The quote I got comes from a local Ford dealership. Normally I'd be hesitant to let a dealership handle performance work. However, the service guy who will be doing the work came recommended by my salesman Doug for previous work on the Doug's race car. I'll be providing the OPG and lowering springs. The quote for all new gaskets, oil change, labor, alignment, and tax was $1300 out the door. Seems like a pretty good deal to me, but I thought I would seek out the opinions of the experienced out there. I'd happily take it to a more reputable shop, but I'm over an hour north of Dallas, so my choices are limited.
