Bossing's GT350 journey....

Love me some NCM racetrack. Even though it looks like a HP track it really rewards cars that handle well. My Cayman GTS on MPSS with rear sway bar, otherwise stock. The downside is the GTS is going away as I just heard from my NC dealer friend that we have a deal for a 2016 Black Track Pack, no stripes for MSRP Will be the 1st time I have gotten a car and the dealer is writing me a check to take it home. :hail:

If you ever head up there for an even let me know, I don't live very far away. Depending on work schedules etc. I'd like to take my car down there in the spring.

As much as I adore the GT, that stupid placement of the GT insignia over over the exhaust is downright tacky!!! Hideous, I tell you.

I don't see an issue with the GT emblem myself.

NCM is an awesome track and definently worth the trip. I put it right up there with Sears Point, VIR, Watkins Glen, Road America, and Sebring as one of my favorite tracks.

I will believe it when I see it and suggesting that RN came out with that statement really surprises me in light of the present upcoming offerings from Ford!

Certainly demand is still very prevalent for the 2017 GT350/GT350R but with all of the new models that Ford is coming out with over the next few years there is only so much money available in the market place for the Blue Oval brand and the last thing Ford wants to do is saturate the marketplace with numerous high dollar cars.

Of course we will all believe it when we officially hear/see it.... that's a given. Don't shoot the messenger. ;)

The demand for the GT350 is far far away from burial grounds. Don't rule out multiple FP models in one model year... a few staggered and/or overlapping. Plus each model actually caters to various demographics... each are also limited availability. Again, whether you like it or not, don't be surprised!

If they don't continue it beyond MY2017... great! If they do... great! We shall all see.

Boy, you should see how many pissed off but in a PC way FordGT applicants were there. Mouthing off "I know them" or "I'm friends with him at FoMoCo" or I am a 50year collector and bought 50+ Fords, etc. etc. None of that alone won't do diddly squat. Good thing they extended the GT to 2 more years though!
