Upgraded to a GT

My reasons were many, as far as the cost, well lets just say I saved a bundle!

And who doesn't like 0% ?

I would love to trade in my v6 but i am in negative equity. Plus i put an aftermarket exhaust on there so not surehow that will affect a trade in value.

Geico wanted $400 dollars more for a GT (6 month premium). I shopped around and found competitors asking about $200 more than what I pay now. I'm 24 and live in the DC Metro area. 1 accident when I started driving like 7 years ago. No speeding tickets. One of the biggest reasons why I'm going V6 is because I can actually get a 6 month premium that's lower than what I pay now! It'll be even better once I turn 25.

GT is a great car, I'd rather have it no doubt, but it has some hefty residual costs (gas, insurance, tires etc.)

No, that doesn't sound too bad. Just wait until some of you younger guys get some years on you and keep a good driving record. I'm in my mid 40's and I think I pay a little over $600 a year. Full coverage. It'll happen guys, it'll happen . . . . .

I upgraded from my 13 V6 to a 16 GT. Incredibly happy with the move. I think just about everyone with a V6 or EB longs for the GT but yeah the overall price is higher. I've looked at a number of GTs and spoke with many dealers until I got a deal I can live with. Trade in on V6s are relatively low. I paid $20k for my premium with Nav and pony package. They gave me $15.5k which is more than fair. I had it 2 years and it had close to 60k. They let me keep most of my mods which i sold back on CL. The insurance went from $80 to $95 a month.
