So after some extended test driving it looks like the car does indeed pull stronger (looks like fueling finally compensated) and IATs are at an all time low even in this 95*-97* weather. IATs also take longer to climb. The Cyclone seems to really like having the PCV deleted. Can't wait to pair this with a 93 oct tune and Reische 170* T-stat. I will be heading out to the track once this heat wave is over.
Dam I just got an oil separator for my cyclone :frusty:

Plug your intake manifold and put a breather filter on one side of the separator. It will work great on the passenger side. You do not need a catch can on the driver side (as shown in pictures below) as it works as an "intake" side. So no worries about oil mist on the driver's side valve cover.

More teaser pictures and showing the pcv deletion process. Also a comparison showing the stock tube and 102mm I/C piping. The piping was cut to fit. The PCV deletion is easy, just take some small needle nose pliers and pull the plastic cover out. From there the spring and check valve will pop right out. Be sure to cap off your intake manifold. Deleting the PCV ensures that hot oily air is not ruining your effective octane. This has also reduced IATs.

Where did you plug the two sensors that were attached to the pvc pipe?
What angle is the bend on the pipe? Looks 60 to 90 to me.

There are no sensors attached to the pcv. If you're talking about the plastic 2 lines that ran to the stock tubing, those were simply capped off/removed. I still have the stock plastic tubing in case I decide to go back to factory(*IE trade in the car years down the road etc.). The aluminum piping is 90* 102mm intercooler piping. Works great.

I thought they were sensors of some kind. What did those two lines do?
I'm really liking the metal look over the pvc, I'm thinking of trying what you have done.

I install it on the passanger side, that was one of my first mods 9500 miles ago and it fills half way up every 2500 miles which if I didn't have the catch can would have gone in the throttle body.

Nope no sensors. Just your basic 1960's style PCV. They are vacuum lines for the PCV. The PCV needs vacuum for the spring/check valve to work properly. It then sends the hot oily air back into the engine soley for emissions purposes. Hot oily air is bad for the engine as it reduces the effective octane and makes IATs climb. More heat, more timing loss. Before PCV there was downdraft tubes which vented in the atmosphere.

This^^.

**Also, if you're going the PCV delete route you have to remove the spring/check valve from the PCV valve on the passenger side valve cover since there is no longer vacuum going to it (since you will be deleting the lines running back into the intake). Also this is common sense, be sure to plug the line coming from the manifold and brake booster.

Not that huge of a deal....its just getting the glass/carbon to go around a pipe with that kind of radius isnt too easy. Still waiting on most of the parts but the valve cover breathers came today :)
