Ok, so i was looking to get a 2016 PP GT to take advantage of the 0% . I wanted black , ruby red, guard, or lightning blue . ( 0% is saving ,like $2k over 6 years )

I found a white one, test drove it, kind of liked it . Almost convinced myself to buy it, just wanted another look... And, sold .

Then they had a black 17 , not a 16 like I was hoping for . So I thought about over the weekend , went back this morning ... And sold .

Now they can get me a ruby red 2017 , I am 90% there .

Now going through a few things in my brain... Do I want a PP and have to replace tires all the time ? ( no rotation , summers OEM )

Do I want to buy a car I can't actually see first ? Test drive , make sure there is no driveshaft vibration, etc...

There is also a 16 ruby red from another dealer , but they already mounted the front plate :(

I convinced myself I wanted apple play, and the 2016 upgrade path is a bit vague right now .

I bet car buying descisions are easy for some of you :) , I am just upgrading and don't need a new car by any stretch .

A 16 PP Premium should do you fine!

Since we know Ford is going to add apple play with an update later this year I'd go for it.

Ruby red is fantastic! It is just a gorgeous color! (and I just traded out of a magnetic - another awesome color. RR is even better!)

The PP isn't bad - I just bought a set of daily driver wheels and tires for about $1700. Not peanuts, but I wanted the stock wheels and tires to autocross, and I got all-seasons to drive the rest of the time. Now I don't need to worry when I head north for the holidays.

I almost bought a 15 in September of 15 , The thought of waiting until an 18 is tempting.

Seen it with my own eyes
Tech is always going to improve every year with things like car play, but if you want an automatic, waiting for that 10 speed Auto is worth the wait. Direct Injection is rumored as well and would improve performance and fuel efficiency, but that has been rumored every year ever since the coyote came out.

Down the road you can always put square tires on those staggered wheels. Rotate tires on the rims mid-way through their life for like $60-100 in labor.

Its cheaper than a set of new square wheels and you get the same tire longevity bonus.

Nobody NEEDS a mustang. It's a 435 HP daily driver. It's decadence on wheels.

What's been the holdback? Color, other cars you're thinking of, EB vs GT? I guess once you narrow down the hesitation it will be a lot easier to see which car is the best fit.

If staggered setups are holding you back go aftermarket. I run 20x10s all the way around with 275/35 nittos so I can rotate. Easy to sell PP wheels. Everyone wants them.

2016 is nice for the fact that you get the 0% financing for 72 months, unfortunately I bought mine a week before it began, however I still received 60/months for 0%. The car I bought was on a lot in MD for over 200 days (I believe) so the dealer had the additional $1,000 Ford blue tag rebate with it. You can find some really great deals on 2016's if you can find something you like still left in stock. Another nice feature I like about the 16's, is the built in turn signals in the vents, a lot of people compliment them when I'm out.

I would for sure make sure you can drive it before you buy it. There are a good number of cars out there that have the vibration issue and you don't want to get stuck with one, it will take you months to get it resolved with Ford and it is a nightmare, I went through it with my wife's car. Drive the exact car you are getting before you sign any paperwork. And I am not talking about a quick spin around the block. Make sure you take it out on some different type of roads and really check it between 50-70 mph.
