Ford Racing Sport w/ Headers

Does anyone have a recording of this set-up, or have anything to say about it? I'm having the hardest time finding anyone who's running it.

I did the touring with high flow cats kooks, it's loud.

My girlfriend said she could hear me a mile away, it's really loud over 4K. And that's with cats, without should be 10 percent more.

Is it a rasp monster? I'm already starting to get tired of the rasp on the regular sport mufflers and x-pipe.

It's a little raspy but only above 4K, you can always add resonators in. Check YouTube there is a guy with videos of the touring with headers, he has a after video with the resonators. I will be supercharged so i will need to delete my cats, at that point I'll add resonater

BTW, all in car videos were taken windows and convertible top down for maximum noise pickup.

With the $100 stainless power rebate going on right now and forum discounts from vendors, I think I'm going to pick up a set of catted headers and try them out with my FRPP sport catback and see how loud it is.

If it's bring-all-children-within-a-2-mile-radius-to-their-knees loud, then I'll pick up the borla resonator.

I have Stainless Works headers with cats connected to the Ford Racing by Borla Sport catback!

Overall, the exhaust is pretty loud, and a bit raspy above 4K RPMs as another member mentioned. I love the exhaust, and think you'll like it too, but the exhaust note topic is very subjective.

The exhaust does not drone on the highway, and it can be kept quiet when shifting at normal RPMs.

To love the fact that mine has zero drone, like other members said its loud when you want it. Cruising below 2.5k it like having a cat back on.
