ngauge questions

Trying to datalog for Jon at Lund.

Issue: "no file " when I got into diagnostics and datalogging to start a file. I have looked at the guides and videos around the net. The gauge is not giving me a file to select to begin a full datalog. I do not get the packets building message and I can not start a log from that specific screen as I am supposed to.

If I go out of the gauges mode and select the "log" option, it will log but only with limited parameters. No KR or A/F or anything overly useful except MAF. From there it WILL let me build a CSV file.

Also,

I can not seem to locate all the parameters that the ngauge offers to monitor. I have scrolled through all the options and things like KR and not there.

If it matters, I have updated to the 195 firmware.

What am I missing on both accounts?

What files do you have in the configs directory?

When you are on gauges, click on a gauge, click on signal... once you get to the signal you want to datalog, did you click the screen so the star turns yellow(yellow star means it will datalog that parameter)?

Not sure if lund is sending you a file that is pre-set up for what they want you to log so apologies if I'm missing the question.

It two questions..

On the signals, I can not locate KR or as it says on these "knockr" or the like. That's with flipping through all of like 25 signal options.

The other ques is straight data log related.

If they are in the config file, then what? How do I make the gauge see them for logging? Man I sound like such a noob here but.. LOL

You should have about 90 signals. Are you using the 2008 and up Ford gas? I'm on a different firmware than you, but I ran 192 a while back and had 85 I believe.

Config file is empty. Custom files (assuming the tunes) has 4 files.

So I will need Lund to send me a config file to log I take it?

I would assume so on 2008+gas

I just counted, and I have 50, some of which are "zuser" and some other stuff I have no clue about. Still can not find KR. :shrug:

I had to go to scan vehicle and choose 2008+ gas to get the KR.

It is an awesome tool, just wish there was better instruction out of the gate. Lund is happy to help though and lot of guys around here have vast knowledge to cover any problems, as you can see LOL.
