They shouldn't have to completely change the tune. Only the maf transfer function.

Yeah, I was most amazed by that and that's why I'm upset I didn't get a log with the "No Tune" version :rant: But hey, the "No Tune" kit did exactly as it was supposed to do

But you think the custom tuning won't pick up more power with the already no tune version? I'm sure it will pick up the same...

I can't answer that but then you would be back at square 1 and essentially be using a "Tune Required" version so just go with that one and save yourself $100.

So this thread seals it than, Ford Racing PP1 and the no tune pmas. I would wait and go PP2 but I am positive the pmas unit out performs the gt350 intake.

I guess for some people. Im sure there is a lot of effort put into turbo kits and other mods to look good and perform well. If it was all about performance tben there would be some crap looking kits out there.

not really, with an intake there isnt a lot of space to make it "pretty" im fine with the looks, the performance makes up for it..i only pop my hood to check or change oil, so looks were not important one bit

Got mine installed a few days ago. Looks and sounds great! The butt dyno definitely approves!!
