Have a little bit of an update. I got to attend the track tour at Buttonwillow race way. Had a hell of a time and thoroughly enjoyed driving the DIB R model. I will upgrade to the R at some point when all the stars align. I snapped a few pics from that event. Also had Jim Owens, Mark Schaller, and my FP driving instructor sign the strut tower brace. They enjoyed seeing the custom Coil Covers.

After driving the R I knew I wanted to delete the resonators. I am fortunate enough to live about 45 minutes from AED so I had Drew weld in some stainless steel exhaust pipe in place of the resonators. It cost a little more but I wanted quality material and welds. Drew took the time to drop the entire exhaust, weld around the entire pipe. He also was able to cut/modify the stock heat shield so it could be retained and welded it back on. His welding ability is MONEY. Car sounds great by the way

Lastly the wife went to IKEA and picked up a frame for me to mount my GT350 photo from. This is the print that is included in the owners supplement.
Is that 2.75" pipe welded to stock X?

So does that heat shield come stock on the gt350 or did you get that custom made? Was thinking of copying the design for my Ford racing x-pipe as I'm feeling the heat coming up through the console.

i would get some of this:

When you pull the exhaust to remove the resonators, I would line the transmission tunnel with it. I highly doubt you'll get much console cooking once it is in.

I believe we used 3" tubing, since the stock exhaust is 2.75. Would have to confirm with Drew up at AED.

The heat shield is factory on the car. I would either order one from ford and try to adapt it, or use the heat shielding zombiekiller posted. Last thing you want is heat coming isn't the cabin during these long cruises during the summer

Another Happy Couple

While I was down at FFF in So-Cal around April I had the chance to attend a Cars and Coffee event. I met up with a real cool Boss 302 owner who was contemplating the GT350, but didn't have any reasonably priced options around his area. I told him about the good dealings I had with my dealer, and told him to hit me up should he decide to take the plunge

Little did I know this gentleman was also a member on this forum. After a few weeks he decided to get the ball rolling and placed an order for a GT350. Well low and behold he flew in to pick her up today. We had lunch and chatted it up a bit before he headed back to So-Cal. He is on the road now and i won't say too much in case he decides to make his own thread. He can identify himself later also. CONGRATS BROTHER

I snapped a couple pics of the cars before he left. If anyone is still interested in a 17 GT350 there are two more available at my dealer. A white/blue striped convenience package on the showroom floor, and another allocation free to be ordered. Shoot me a PM if interested

F***. That RR says "Swedensky, Trade in".
Ruby Red is nice but honestly, I like your solid white better. There's gonna be a lot of Ruby Red's driving around but not too many like yours. Keep it!

Thanks again brother, it's been a very busy week. Great drive home with more gawking and thumbs up than I've ever experienced with any previous car.

Everybody has their own personal favorite with color and on this car it basically impossible to make a bad choice. This is not my first Ruby FoMoCo product and I'm partial to it. I've got to go on the road and pay for it now but I will get a post up when I return. Plus change my info to reflect what's in the garage....

Ive only seen 2 sets sell (ebay) and they went for around 1200 without the tire sensors or tires.
