Ordered a new 2017 GT!

Hey all,

Ordered a new MustangGT 2 weeks ago factory order. Originally wanted a CamaroSS but hated driving it(visibility plus GT was almost 10k cheaper!). Just wondering, how long did you guys have to wait till your car arrived?

Dealer advised 8-10weeks. I'm hoping its more towards 8! Also, when do you receive your V.I.N.#?

This is the first time I've ever factory ordered a vehicle. Always bought used but the deals on right now were too hard to pass up!

Awesome, your gonna love it! I ordered my car on November 11, 2015. It took a little over 7 weeks until it arrived on January 5, 2016. I thought that was fairly quick considering it went through two major holidays.

I think the 0% is only in the US, in Canada we have Employee Pricing and Costco Rebate right now.

Hello OP! We're in the same situation as well. I'm from the GTA. I wanted a 2SS but after comparing prices and performance being basically neck and neck it's not hard to go with a Mustang.

I factory ordered a 2017 GT Premium. I placed my order June 30th and emailed my salesman about a VIN on July 14th and got it along with an approx build date as well. I'd say 2 weeks should be fair. I was advised 10-12 weeks on the long end with 8-10 being the usual. My build day is Aug 8th confirmed my Deysha (Fordservice on here). Once you get your VIN, PM her with your name and VIN and she can get you an accurate build date and ETA when available.

My salesman also showed me the tracking for a 2017 they have on their long, from day of finished build it took a little over a week to get here by truck. With that information I'm looking at 7-8 weeks order to build so i'm hoping yours would be similar!

I ordered mine 8 June 16 and the Blend date was this past Monday, 25 July. Still hasn't been released for shipping yet. Vin appeared on 15 July. Hope this helps and congrats. Now the waiting.....

Took about a week to get my VIN but it's been pretty useless having it as none of the tracking sites worked for me. I got most of my updates through my dealer. The research manics site showed my sticker 1 week prior to build, which was yesterday. That makes it just under 7 weeks from order to build, now the wait for delivery which from what I've seen can vary wildly based on where you are at. I am hoping since I am in St Louis which is fairly close to FRAP and a larger metro area that there will be more shipments here and my wait will be on the shorter side.

Congrats! You won't be disappointed. I also was contemplating buying a Camaro but I didn't want a car that has essentially looked the same for 10 years, has terrible visibility, and a horrendous backseat and trunk. Also it's overpriced.
You will love your mustang. So glad I chose it.

Just got Vin# last week from my dealer. He mentioned build date will be 2nd week of August and delivery would be mid September. Order date was 4th of July. Which site do you go to check on build progress

It took 5 weeks from build date to arrival at my dealer. And I only live about 5 hours from the plant.
