GT350R with Window Tint? Anyone getting it?

I'm tossing the idea around....tint or no tint.

Anyone have any thoughts? On ones side, I really like the idea of no tint for clarity and brightness levels. But I also like the idea of cutting sun with the tint, but there's always the downside when driving at night.

Just trying to get thoughts...and it being a 350 vs a reg Mustang. Would you tint it?

Assuming my order goes through, I plan to tint mine as much as legally allowed. I have had all my previous cars tinted, and wouldn't want to go without it here in Texas.

I've been tinting for almost 20 years and on my 16 gt I removed the tint that they applied at the dealership..my 16 gt350 didn't get tint and neither will my 17 350 ..

Tint can be declared unsafe by SCCA/NASA techs as hand signals are critical to competition driving. Think about this if you plan to track the car.

I don't think I will do lights on my 350 though either.

I tinted mine, but each to their own.
Upside with tint is is something easily reversible.

I can't have a car that's not tinted. I did 20% on mine.

I'm guessing there isn't a factory tint option I missed? Like when they actually tint the glass like in my Range?

Shelby Dave, if you've been tinting for 20 years why did you decide to remove the tint from the 16 and not get any in your 17?

I also haven't done a lot of research about different applications. When DrumReaper says ceramic...is this like a spray on tint or is it some sorta adhesive film?

I will track the car but as I'm sure with a lot of Gt350 owners, it won't be its sole purpose.

Definitely tint! - besides, aren't windows supposed to be rolled down during autocross? I know it's mandatory during open track...

I dont tint my windows. I want people seeing the stud driving it. Nah.. lol...i just dont go out for long drives plus i ware my shades when its sunny

Even a light tint goes a LONG way in heat rejection and glare reduction. Look into an 80% or so film, I have it on my windshield and you can hardly tell it's there until it's 90º outside, the sun is beating down, and your car is like 70º within 5 minutes of turning it on, because the tint does that good a job.
