I have all my vehicles tinted, not blacked out mind you but the legal limit, well around 35%. I'm fair skinned and get sunburned looking at a picture of the sun in a book so the tint really does save me. I don't do it to look cool or hide from people.

I live about eight miles from Summit Point Raceway and want to get my car on the track at some point, (Summit Point - some point, I see what I did there). I've already asked a friend who races there and other tracks, he said while not ideal, it's not illegal.

So for those of you that track your cars, tinted or not? Is yours tinted? Do you feel a light tint is unsafe? Obviously safety comes first on the track for myself and the other cars running. I just wanted an opinion from those who run on a track. Thanks.

Windows down on the track. Unless you tinted the wind shield. I'm tinted.

Rear window an issue? It's not for me on the street but the street isn't the track. Thanks for you input.
