Our dealers should be our primary point of contact with Ford, salesman enhancing the purchasing experience, and getting us on-side for free positive word-of-mouth advertising. It ain't the case, though I note that does seem to change when your car arrives!
Many of us have, at times, been apologists and tolerant of Ford dealers, not knowing, and being kept in the dark, about all sort of issues. Every little crumb of information we glean (and this is usually not from the dealer but FordAU Facebook, FordService here, and especially other members of this forum) eases our frustration with them.
Maybe the dealers should get off their backsides and demand to be informed. Had a long chat with my salesman recently (my car should be here within a fortnight so now I love him), both of us lamenting the lack of information from FordAU. It was, however, the same conversation I had with them 13 months ago when I put down my money. :frusty:

I guess it's still the case that when the car finally arrives the grin takes over and all the waiting is forgotten!

Today my girl (Flatrock Ford plant) goes into labor with our very special child...Our Son (2017 GT Magnetic Auto with OTT Stripes) shall be born today and as a proud father all I can do is sit and wait for the good news that Mother and Son are doing fine....All I can ask for is a healthy Coyote and and healthy 1700kg birth weight....See you in 12 weeks my big Shiny Son....:love::love:

Correct me if I am wrong but wouldn't today be the day your baby is conceived and delivery in three months when you get the keys for him from the dealership when you take delivery?
The whole process from now till you take delivery would be the birthing process would it not?

Im one of those parents that have a child for a week without a name lol.....I may need to see him first.What's the baby's name? I've gone traditional, my girl is Sally, of course.

got a message from ford this morning, cant wait, 4 month earlier build date than we were told
